Terms, waiver & release

1. Assumption of risk

Basketball training, clinics and camps involve running, jumping, physical contact and other strenuous activity. Injuries can happen — including sprains, fractures, concussions, and in rare cases more serious injury — even when everyone follows the rules and coaches act with care.

As the parent or legal guardian, I understand these risks and voluntarily allow my player to participate. I confirm my player is physically able to take part, and I will tell staff about any condition that affects that.

2. Waiver and release of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I release, waive and agree not to sue Just Watch Sports LLC, its owners, coaches, staff, volunteers, event partners (including co-hosts such as Coach Z Skills Academy), and the schools and facilities that host our events (together, the "Released Parties") for any injury, illness, loss or damage to my player or to me arising from participation, including claims based on the Released Parties' ordinary negligence.

This release does not cover gross negligence or willful misconduct. I sign it on my own behalf and on behalf of my player.

3. Indemnity

I agree to cover the Released Parties' costs (including reasonable attorney fees) for any claim brought by or on behalf of my player that this release covers.

4. Medical authorization

If I can't be reached in an emergency, I authorize Just Watch Sports staff to get emergency medical care for my player, including transport to a hospital. I am responsible for the cost of that care. The medical and contact information I gave at registration is accurate, and I'll update it if it changes.

5. Photo and video release

Our events are photographed and filmed. As a condition of registration, I give Just Watch Sports LLC and its event partners permission to photograph and record my player during events and to use those photos, video and audio — including my player's image, likeness and first name — on its website, social media, email and promotional materials, without payment, in any media, for as long as Just Watch Sports operates.

We never publish a player's contact information, school schedule or home location. If you'd like a specific photo or video taken down, email us and we'll remove it from our own channels going forward.

6. Conduct

Players are expected to follow coaches' instructions and treat others with respect. Staff may remove a player whose behavior puts others at risk; in that case the registration isn't refunded.

7. Refunds

Registration is refundable up to 7 days before the event (the service fee is non-refundable). Inside 7 days, credit toward a future Just Watch Sports clinic or camp.

8. Player information

Registration details are used to run the event and contact your family. Medical notes are shared only with the coaching staff for that event. We email families about future events only if they opt in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

9. Electronic signature

Typing my name and checking the box at registration is my electronic signature. It has the same effect as a handwritten signature and applies to every player in that registration. I am at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of each player I register.
